Basic power strip: A power strip with a switch that incorporates a convenient switch function for Crystal 6.1.
With a single power switch, all outputs (6 outlets) of 3P outlet + 2P outlet with ground pole can be turned on/off collectively.
In addition to audio equipment that does not have a power switch, it can be used as a power tap for PC audio and network audio in recent years, as well as DTM (desktop music) peripheral equipment used in music production sites.
Vintage products and overseas products often have audio equipment without power switches, but many of them are said to prevent sound quality deterioration due to mechanical contacts.
KOJO TECHNOLOGY has succeeded in overcoming both sound quality and convenience by adopting a power switch made by British Arcolectric, which has a proven track record in electrical performance (inrush current: 150A) and sound quality.

The body that makes up Crystal R5.1 consists of 3 parts: TOP cover / BOTTOM chassis / sub-chassis.
Not only the inlet and outlet, but also the power switch and all other parts are mounted on the subchassis. By making it independent (hanging) from the exterior case (TOP cover, BOTTOM chassis), it dampens unnecessary external vibrations that affect the power tap.
The connection between the top cover and the sub-chassis is made of M2052, a damping alloy that can attenuate from ultra-low frequencies to ultrasonic waves . The damping of unnecessary vibration is made higher-dimensional.

The body consists of three parts, the TOP cover is made of aluminum, the BOTTOM chassis, and the sub-chassis are made of steel.
In addition, the BOTTOM chassis, which is directly affected by vibrations from the floor (installation surface), is reinforced with a thickness of 2.0 mm, and uses TAOC vibration absorption sheets as vibration absorption sheets.
These further improve the vibration suppression effect of the MIS and increase the rigidity of the entire body, contributing greatly to a sense of stability and high sound quality when setting.

The wiring material of the power supply line inherits the single wire material that actively utilizes the skin effect and adopts tin plating 1.6 mm.
After the power supply line passes through the power switch from the inlet, each output outlet is wired straight so that transmission can be performed without loss, and the MIS. In order to maintain the independence (suspension) of the sub-chassis, care is taken not to touch the exterior case (TOP cover, BOTTOM chassis) at all.

The Crystal series has a truly unique connection function (connection outlet). The Crystal R5.1 itself does not have a connection outlet, but you can expand the functionality by inserting a model equipped with a connection function such as the Crystal 3P or C1P into the inlet and fixing it with a connection plate* 2 . .
In the above combination of Crystal 3P + R5.1, not only can the number of connectable outlets be increased, but the power supply from the Crystal 3P is always in a state of power supply, but the power switch is interposed in the latter R5.1 , it is possible to temporarily stop the power supply to unused equipment by turning it off when power supply is not required.
Also, in the Crystal C1P + R5.1 chain combination, R5.1 can benefit from C1P’s own functions (surge absorber/filter), and is expanded to a power tap with filter function.
When used in conjunction with a power switch, it is possible to arbitrarily stop the power supply by turning off the switch when the power supply to the connected device is unnecessary, just like connecting Crystal 3P + R5.1.

Models equipped with a connecting plate connecting outlet: Crystal 3P/C1P/H1P/L1P and others come with a connecting plate. It is possible to fix the connecting part by using it when connecting.
Crystal 3.1/6.1/R5P that do not have a connection outlet do not come with a connection plate.
Old model: It is possible to connect with the Forcebar series, but it cannot be fixed with a connecting plate.

AC adapters come in a wide variety of sizes, shapes, and insertion directions, and have the disadvantage of blocking adjacent outlets. Adapters can also be used without difficulty.

The ground terminal, which is unfamiliar to other manufacturers’ power taps, is connected to the ground line of the internal wiring and the exterior case, and it functions effectively as a connection destination of the outlet plug with ground wire by using it together with a 2P outlet.

The Crystal R5.1 (Crystal series) is designed with the concept of clarity and delicacy as its name suggests.
The image of the Force bar series was rugged and robust, but the black tone was changed to silver.
The BOTTOM chassis and sub-chassis are also unified in silver color. In particular, the BOTTOM chassis has a different folding method than the Force bar series, creating a sense of unity with the TOP cover.
The product type name placed on the top cover is also modern and stylish, with thin lines to create a sense of delicacy and accuracy.
The window frame through which the outlet, inlet, and power switch can be seen is designed and manufactured by original cutting molds used in the chassis processing process.
By changing from the conventional square window to a round square window that is one size larger, it also has a chillerism that gives a glimpse of the mechanism of MIS.
