EC-838 employs 838 tube in the output power stage which is exclusively used by JAN (Joint Army and Navy) for wireless transmission purposes of it’s high output power and reliability. EC-838 is capable of driving any low efficiency modern speakers with easy.

・IITC circuitry with DC magnetic cancellation performs outstanding low frequency and rich musicality.

・Uncompromising direct coupling circuitry in all stage. Coupling capacitors are totally eliminated to ensure the pure reproduction of the sound without coloration.

・Filaments of vacuum tubes are supplied by well-filtered DC currents. In order to get clean plate current. EC-838 employs special Silicon-diode rectifiers which minimize noise.

・Chassis is precision machined from a 10mm thick solid block of aluminum and detailed with a handsome and durable Champaign gold finish.

・Custom gold plated tube socket contacts are machined from phosphor bronze bar stock and set in milled Teflon supports. Damping using high tech Beta-gel technology eliminates effects of environmental vibrations.

・Noises by power supply are considerably reduced by power supply filters.
